How the numbers are calculated
- Hire first-year cost = salary x (1 + overhead) x (12 - months to fill) / 12 + salary x recruiting fee
- Hire productive months = 12 - months to fill - half of ramp months
- Pod first-year cost = monthly cost x months engaged
- Pod productive months = months engaged, capped at 12 - months until start
- Cost per productive month = first-year cost / productive months
