Privacy policy
Version 1.2, effective 2026-10-02. We collect only what you type into our forms, keep it for a fixed time, and never sell it.
In short
- We collect personal data only when you send it to us through a form: your name, work email, company, and your answers or message.
- We use it to reply to you and to prepare for a call. We do not sell it, rent it, or use it for advertising.
- We count page visits and button clicks only if you choose Allow. The count is first-party, and no advertising or third-party tracker runs on this site.
- Form data is deleted automatically after 24 months. Visit counts are deleted after 90 days.
- You can ask us to show, correct, or delete your data at any time by writing to hello@limerine.com.
Who we are
This website is operated by Limerine Software Pvt Ltd, which trades as Limerine. We decide why and how your personal data is processed, which makes us the data controller, or the data fiduciary under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
For anything about your data, write to hello@limerine.com. A person reads every message.
What we collect
- When you start a diagnostic
- The situation you choose, the revenue tools you run, who owns them, a band for what you spent on outside help, whether a date is driving the decision, and your name, work email, and company. We also record the page you sent it from, when you sent it, a broad category for how you reached us (such as search, a link, or direct), and the score our routing rules gave your answers.
- When you contact us or request security documents
- What your message is about, your name, work email, company if you give it, and your message, with the same page, time, and referral category.
- When you book a call
- Booking runs on Shal, our own scheduling service, hosted on Amazon Web Services by us. It records your name, email, the time you chose, your time zone, any guests you add, and the notes carried over from the form, and it sends you the invitation and reminders. Shal is not a separate company; the same policy and retention apply.
- When you allow visit counting
- Which page you viewed, which button you clicked, which question you opened on a page, the broad referral category, whether you completed a booking, and which call. We do not record your IP address, device identifiers, or anything that identifies you in these counts.
We do not ask for, and ask you not to send, sensitive personal data such as health, financial account, or government identity information.
What we do not collect
- We keep no access logs of your visits to this website.
- Our free tools run entirely in your browser. What you type into a calculator stays in your browser and in the page address. A file you give the CRM data quality checker is read on your device and is never uploaded.
- Fonts and images load from limerine.com itself, not from font or image services that could observe your visit.
- No advertising pixels, social media trackers, session recorders, or chat widgets run on this site.
Why we use it, and on what basis
- To answer your request
- Replying, and preparing for a call you asked for. Basis: taking steps at your request before a possible contract, and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries.
- To understand which pages help
- Visit counting, only after you choose Allow. Basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- To keep the site and forms safe
- Blocking spam and abuse. When you send a form, the form service records your IP address for about a day, only to limit repeat sends. Basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure service.
- To meet legal obligations
- Keeping or disclosing data when the law requires it.
Cookies and browser storage
This site sets no cookies. It stores a few small values in your browser:
- limerine.consent
- Your Allow or Decline choice for visit counting, so we do not ask again. Kept in local storage until you clear it.
- layer-settled
- Remembers that the home page animation has played, so it plays once per visit. Kept in session storage and cleared when you close the tab.
- limerine.unsent.diagnostic and limerine.unsent.contact
- A form you sent that did not reach us. Your browser keeps it, sends it again the next time you open a page with a form, and removes it once it arrives.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as Decline and do not show the choice. To change your choice, use Privacy choices at the foot of any page, or clear this site's data in your browser.
International transfers
Limerine Software Pvt Ltd is based in India, and our service providers store data in the United States. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another region with transfer rules, your data is transferred to these countries under the safeguards our providers offer, such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it

How we protect it
- Everything on this site is served over encrypted connections.
- Form data is encrypted when stored, and the storage cannot be reached from the internet.
- The form service is built to accept submissions from limerine.com pages, checks the email address, and drops spam.
- Only the people who handle enquiries can read form data.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it, and you can withdraw consent to visit counting at any time. Write to hello@limerine.com. We may ask you to confirm your identity, and we reply within 30 days.
- India
- Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may also nominate someone to exercise your rights, and raise a grievance with us first and then with the Data Protection Board of India.
- European Economic Area and United Kingdom
- You may also object to processing based on legitimate interest, ask for your data in a portable format, and complain to your local data protection authority.
- California
- You may also ask what categories of personal information we collect and disclose. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in California law, and we do not use sensitive personal information.
Children
This site is for business buyers and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe we have, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, we update the version and effective date at the top and record the change below. If a change affects how we use data you already gave us, we will tell you by email before it takes effect.
